Adamsburg and Fort Allen Fire Departments from Hempfield Township organized a Firefighter Rapid Intervention Team drill on an aquired structure.  Crews started at 9:00am participating in various evolutions throughout the morning hours.  Vent 3 was brought in around 10:00am for firefighter rehabilitation via use of its misting ring system.  The optional misting ring was demonstrated to officials from Adamsburg, Fort Allen, Adamsburg EMS and Westmoreland County HazMat.

Once evolutions were completed, Vent 3 was to be used for exposure protection as additional companies were brought in to assist in burning the structure to the ground.  Vent 3 departed the exercise early due to a call in South Huntingdon Twp.
